A friend of mine sent me a link to a video and told me that it might have something that interest me… I have never thought that it would be the thing that I have watched or heard.
It was a link to Queen Rania’s recorded speech on YouTube; it was her speech at Google Zeitgeist 2008 Europe in UK. I started to watch the 28:21 minutes video. Mainly she was talking about the role of the internet at these days and the idea behind her channel on YouTube.
In its 41st issue, Jordan Business magazine (May 2008) contains 8 pages of an interesting interview with Her Majesty Queen Rania in addition to an article about her.
The subjects of the interview varied to include most of the recent Jordanian cases; Her Majesty’s initiative “Madrasati”, that focuses on the development of the public schools, was the first subject of the interview, then she talked about the Public Private Partnership model (PPP) and the plans to achieve the sustainability of that partnership. Gender equality, women participation and honor crimes were a part of the discussion.
Few days ago we have started to see the streets in Amman crowded with the posters of the new campaign to prevent car accidents that is causing the death of a lot of innocent people “Kafa”. From my point of view I hate the way they are representing the case to the public with the picture of the grave.
After eating 4 sandwiches of Reem’s delicious shawerma. I’ve decided to take a short nap on the bean bag at our offices. Jumana the paparazzi caught me with her mobile phone’s camera in this picture sleeping at the office.

You might recognize the name of Tareq Al Nasser, or might have heard his great compositions in many Arab series starting from ‘Nihayat Rajul Shuja3′ in the 90’s, until ‘Muluk Al Tawaef’ and ‘Al Malek Farouq’ last year.
Rum is a unique Jordanian musical group lead by Arab composer Tareq Al Nasser. He is a true genius, he has a gift of composing brilliant music that overwhelms the listener, and sends shivers down any appreciative persons spine.

Finally, the long waited MacBook Pro arrived safely from the USA with one of our big Akhtaboots. I never used a Mac with OS X, I took a look on it before but not to an extent to know the structure of the operating system. I’ve started my adventure to see what is Mac and what is OS X. 48 Hours after starting; I can say that it’s something that I have nothing to say about more than AMAZING.
I admit that Star Academy (the 1st season) had an influence on me and on most of the youth in the Arab World, it was a new concept that we weren’t used to see on any Arabic Channel especially with the real T.V. Now, Star Academy is in its 5th season, during the past 4 seasons, every year it became worse than the year before, with people from all over the Arab World as we used to see Jordanians participants.
During those years and in parallel with Star Academy, new technologies came up and most of Star Academy affected people were trying to utilize those technologies (SMS and web social networks mainly) in order to support their fans.
