With consideration to my role in a company that is one of the few that care about the cross browsers compatibility (akhtaboot.com). I wish that we are getting rid of Internet Explorer (IE) 6 (the browser that acts very stupidly) very soon.
It’s obvious for all of the web development experts that IE 6 uses odd standards to deal with CSS and HTML, those standards have no sense, no logic and not related to the professional work in any way! Here in Jordan, while you are surfing some websites that are done to be compatible with IE 6, just give it a try and open the same website using Firefox or IE 7… Surprise; the styling of the pages will be a disaster in most of the cases. That is normal as most of the web development companies are working according to the fact that IE 6 is the most used internet browser over the internet, so they are not taking care of the other browsers.
Not only in Jordan as Facebook themselves decided to tell their users to use another browser when they log in using IE 6.

Apparently Microsoft figured out that problem and finally started to provide IE 7 with the Windows Update utility.
