بين الحين والآخر، تنضم شركة جديدة إلى القطاع الخاص دون أن يكون همها الوحيد تحقيق النجاح التجاري فحسب، بل والاهتمام أيضاً بتجسيد التزامها الحقيقي بخدمة مجتمعها. في الواقع، تعتبر هذه الشركات قلة قليلة، بل وينحصر عددها عندما يتعلق الأمر بقدرتها على تحقيق رؤاها بصورة مثمرة من خلال تنظيم مبادرات تترك أثراً إيجابياً مستداماً في مجتمعاتها.

ولعل واحدة من المؤسسات التي اتخذت هذا النهج هي الشركة المركزية للتجارة والمركبات، الوكيل الحصري لسيارات تويوتا وليكزس وهينو في المملكة، إذ تمكنت هذه الشركة من تعزيز ومواصلة التزامها في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة، لا سيّما في مجال الحفاظ على البيئة. فبالإضافة إلى تقديمها للسيارات الهجينة من تويوتا، بريوس وكامري، في السوق المحلية تحرص الشركة على تنظيم حملات ومبادرات مبتكرة ترمي إلى غرس الوعي البيئي في المجتمع، وخلق اهتمام عام به.

وقد أطلقت الشركة المركزية للتجارة والمركبات مؤخراً لحملة إبداعية على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي فيسبوك تحت عنوان: “فكرة تويوتا الخضراء.” وتأتي هذه الحملة مدفوعة بإيمان الشركة بالضرورة الملحة لخلق “وعي أخضر” مستدام في المملكة، وهو ما حذا بها لتسخير كل ما تتمتع به الشبكات الاجتماعية من قوة في خلق إثارة في المجتمع عبر التفكير الإبداعي والتفاعل الاجتماعي.

وتمنح هذه الحملة، التي تستهدف المجتمع عامة وفئة الشباب خاصة، المشاركين فيها فرصة الفوز بالجائزة الكبرى، جهاز iPad من Apple، (الكمبيوتر اللوحي فائق التقنية) في حال تقدّمهم بفكرة متميزة لمبادرة بيئية على الصفحة الخاصة بالحملة على موقع فيسبوك. وتتلخص آليتها بتصفية عشرة أفكار ممن تحصل على أكبر كمٍّ من الإعجاب Like في الصفحة وترشيحها للمرحلة النهائية من المنافسة، لتقوم بعدئذ لجنة تحكيمية باختيار الفكرة الأكثر تميزاً من بينها ليفوز مُقترِحها بالجائزة الكبرى، في حين سيحصل الفائز بالمركز الثاني على جهاز iPod Touch. وإذا كانت الفكرة المطروحة عملية، ومجدية، ومستدامة، وتتماشى مع استراتيجية الشركة المركزية في الحفاظ على البيئة، فستعمل الشركة على إدخالها حيّز التطبيق.

من جهة أخرى، تُتسغَلّ الحملة كوسيلة فعالة لغايات نشر حقائق أساسية وإحصائيات حول الحفاظ على البيئة في المملكة لخلق اهتمام عام بها. وتتناول هذه الحقائق التحديات البيئية التي توشك المملكة على مواجهتها، بما في ذلك محدودية المصادر الطبيعية، والحفاظ على المياه، والتصحر ونقص الاستثمارات الطويلة المدى، بالإضافة إلى المبادرات الخاصة بالطاقة المتجددة.

وتواجه قضية الحفاظ على البيئة تهميشاً في بلد يواجه تقلبات سياسية ومشاكل فقر، وذلك بالرغم من تأثيرها على كافة الأفراد في المجتمع. وهو ما يزيد من إيمان الشركة المركزية بأهمية دور القطاع الخاص المحوري في طرح هذه القضية على الجمهور العام، وذلك من خلال مخاطبتها المباشرة لفئة الشباب في المجتمع عبر وسائل اتصال فعالة. لقد أدى انتشار الشبكات الاجتماعية في صياغة تحول ثقافي كبير، تمخض عنه بروز منصات تفاعلية تشهد تفاعلاً غير مسبوق يتحكم فيه الفرد العادي في خلق محتواه. وهو ما فتح آفاقاً أوسع أمام الساعيين إلى إحداث تغيير لتسليط الضوء على قضايا رئيسية وكبرى، بعيداً عن القيود والرقابة السياسية والتجارية.

وفيما يتعلق بالحفاظ على البيئة، لا شك في أن هناك حاجة ملحة للتغيير، والذي يمكنه أن يرى النور على أيدي جيلنا الشاب الذي نعلق عليه آمالنا المستقبلية وحراكنا الاجتماعي. إن هذه الحملة المتفردة ما هي إلا خطوة صغيرة وإسهام المركزية بمسيرة تطوير وتنمية المجتمع المحلي.

Nakhweh.com - 3rd beta version

Amman – Nakhweh.com team launches the third beta version of the website dedicated to link volunteers with opportunities to volunteer. The new version comes a year after establishing the initiative under the slogan “Connecting hearts to change the world”.

Kamel Al-Asmar, a co-founder of the initiative, says: “The update includes new initiatives, such as (The Blood Channel), which aims to build a database of blood donors, to be informed in cases in need of blood, using all channels of social media, email and cellular phone.”

The Nakhweh.com Blog (blog.nakhweh.com) was also released with the third beta version. The blog is concerned first and foremost by disseminating information on social causes, allowing visitors to see the opportunities available for them to provide moral and in-kind help. It also includes stories, projects and news dealing with social issues in the Arab world.

With reference to the experience of the first year; Hadi Nasereddin, the other co-founder added: “The idea of the website had the admiration and support of individuals, organizations and corporations. The most important of the examples is the support provided by Aramex to the initiative (Give Back); which operates to collect in-kind contributions, where Aramex collects them from donor sites and homes, while the Nakhweh.com team distribute them to the needy with the assistance of volunteers”

“At Aramex, we are committed to supporting initiatives that serve our communities” said Hussam Baraqouni, Aramex Chief Executive Officer for the Levant “especially those that are initiated by youth who enjoy an entrepreneurial drive and who aim to create opportunities for themselves and the people around them”.

Also the website team started to hold partnership agreements with a number of institutions and individuals inside and outside Jordan to deliver its message to the largest number of beneficiaries in the Arab world.

It’s worth mentioning that the website team will enhance its activities in the coming days to collect as many information on volunteering opportunities and charity during the holy month of Ramadan.

Queen Rania is descovering the power of the social media.

After 14 months on YouTube, I was wondering if Queen Rania wants to discover the power of social media and networking tools on the web one after the other when I saw her on Twitter a week ago (now with more than 40,000 followers). Apparently I was mistaken, Queen Rania is working on her online presence using more than one social media at once.

When I checked HM’s page on Facebook, I figured out that I was missing something that’s happening on the background. A page with more than 21,000 fans who are increasing rapidly. In addition to adding her twitter updates on the page’s status, Queen Rania is starting discussion topics there, mentioning on of them: “How can we build and broadcast cross-cultural dialogue?”. She also uploaded and still uploading some collections of photos on that page.

The interactivity factor on the Facebook page is impressive, and I’m regretting the couple of days I missed without being there. But the question that I and the people around me are asking; who is updating those media tools?! Is she Queen Rania personally who’s doing so or there is a team that is taking care of it, I’m really curious about it and I hope to have the answer one day.

On a different note; today I realized that the Queen’s page on Facebook was owned by my cyber friend, Mohammad Mansour AKA TripleM and one day he found that he’s no longer the admin of that page. Basically Queen Rania stole her page as it’s supposed to be her property
